Inmarsat GX5衛星打ち上げ成功に関するお知らせ
インマルサットGlobal Xpressの５機目の衛星となる「GX5」が、ギアナ宇宙センターからアリアンスペース社の打上ロケットにより、現地時間2019年11月26日18時23分（日本時間27日6時23分）打ち上げられました。

「GX5」はインマルサットのGlobal Xpressネットワークの容量を大幅に向上させ、ヨーロッパ・中東地域で高まっている、信頼性の高いモバイル向けのブロードバンドへの需要に応えます。
GX5は既存のGX衛星4機分（GX1-GX4）を合わせた容量よりも多くの容量を搭載して提供します。

Global Xpress

Inmarsat's fifth Global Xpress satellite, GX5, launched by Arianespace from the Guiana Space Centre, Europe's spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
GX5 will significantly boost Inmarsat's Global Xpress network capacity, meeting growing demand for reliable mobile broadband connectivity across Europe and the Middle East.
GX5 will deliver greater capacity than the entire existing GX fleet (GX1-GX4) combined.
